everything was so good. definitely the best experience i’ve ever had in füssen. the waiters and waitresses are amazing. they all have an amazing soul. such and amazing meals, drinks, beers, service and restaurant. definitely enjoyed everything. suggested

Arrived in town and needed to eat some dinner. Walked around the area and checked out menus, prices, and if they had people inside eating. This one checked all 3 boxes. Staff was helpful and quick. Had the (pork) schnitzel with pommes frites (french fries). It was brought out quick and hot, with a lemon wedge for the schnitzel and mayonnaise and ketchup for the fries. The fries were crisp and hot. The schnitzel was hot, seasoned well, and tasty. I didn't save room for desert, but they had a variety of offerings. I also had an Aperol spritz that was perfect. Wide variety of wines and beers as well. The atmosphere was lovely. The building was from the 1600s (photos and drawings at the back of the menu) and they had put some Christmas flourishes out.

Great service and decent food (I really loved their Kässspatzle). It was an excellent experience overall, though being asked to share a four-person table with an individual (so 2+1 people) was a little awkward given no shared language.

Great place to hang out and eat. Outside and indoor seating. Nice wine list and variety of beers and specialty drinks. Our server, Adriana, was kind, engaging, and helpful with the menu. We ate Croatian food for dinner, but wished it had been the weekend because their specials look wonderful.

It was really good to have someone serve traditional Bayern food but just that little bit better. I have had ragout and schweinebraten many many times in Munich, but here at Aquila the ragout was a bit different and with preiselbeere, the schweinebraten was served with a much better tasting Knödel, and Blaukraut. Really good.

Adriana & Suad were excellent hosts and very informative with menu choices. They engaged and helped our group to enjoy and experience a wonderful evening at the restaurant. We would highly recommend this establishment and if any of us are in this region again then we will certainly be considering another evening here.
